A full service pest management company offering services in termite control, pest control & bird control. We offer baiting programs for termite, household pest & rodent control. Chemical free methods are available for some pest problems. Our service area includes Union, Mecklenburg and the surrounding counties in North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.


What is your definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)?

A method of pest management that uses physical and preventative methods, as well as inspection to prevent pest problems before or in addition to chemical methods. A five step process including: inspection, identification, planning, exclusion and treatment (if needed).

 

Is pest management performed on a specific schedule?

Most commercial accounts are monthly, residential is quarterly. Outside treated 3-5 ft band with granular insecticide or bait, windows & doors treated, baits are used indoors in key areas.

 

How are pest problems identified?

Pheromone traps are placed in problem areas & identified.

What practices do you use to prevent and/or control pests?

Barrier/exclusion methods, monitors, baiting programs & liquid treatment.

If pesticides are used, how much are used per year of each?

Yes. Pesticides are generally applied to the outside of a structure with minimal treatment on the inside unless needed. Perimeter treatments are done with approimately five to ten gallons of .0190 solution.

 

Does your company perform habitat modification?

Altering the environment to make it unattractive to the pest. Especially in rodent & roach control - sanitation is very important!

Do you use any physical or mechanical controls?

Sealing cracks, crevices or entry points into the structure. Traps can be used for insects and rodents.

All services are guaranteed. Accounts are monitored by supervisors. Customers are sent evaluations to return to rate their service effectiveness. Monitors are left at accounts to detect any pest activity.
