We are an organic based lawn care provider that encourages that every customer strive for a pesticide free lawn. Our PureGreen Program uses a premium organic fertilizer that is made from vegetable by-product and is safe for children and pets.

What is your definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)?

Using the least amount of pesticides, if any, as possible. This means communicating with our customers about what their expectations are concerning pests, seeking alternative methods to reduce or eliminate those pests, and doing all of this in an environmentally aware program.

Is pest management performed on a specific schedule?

Per customer basis as stated above. We encourage increased monitoring as opposed to prevention programs that apply unnecessary pesticides in a blanket application. Proper cultural practices can aviod many of the pest problems, for example disease.

How are pest problems identified?

Our trained technicians monitor and identify pest problems. We monitor as much as possible, but provide free service calls and additional information to encourage our customers to be able to monitor and communicate with us properly.

What practices do you use to prevent and/or control pests?

Proper cultural practices, soild fertilization program, IPM for pest problems that we do not have a natural alternative solution for.

Do you use biological controls?

We are currently experimenting on the side with a few, for example beneficial nematodes.

Do you use borates?

No.

Do you use synthetic chemicals?

If customers want us to, we will use spot treatments of herbicide.

What are the top 10 pesticides you use/sell/recommend?

2-4D, Mecoprop, Dicamba

If pesticides are used, how much are used per year of each?

The least amount possible, applied with spot treatments on the customer's request.

Recommend mechanical weed controls, such as a "Speedy Weedy"

Fertilizers made from food grade material, organic based (bridge) fertilizers.
