(ii) adopt community ordinances that embrace organic management practices that protect health and biodiversity;
(iii) advance national organic standards that ensure organic integrity and growth as a member of the National Organic Standards Board;
(iv) work with park systems to adopt organic land management;
(v) educate on a sensible public health approach to mosquito management and West Nile virus that focuses on breeding areas, not community-wide spraying
(vi) end use of genetically engineered organisms on federal lands and urge the adoption of policies that outlaw GE organisms that contaminate through genetic drift or are used without public disclosure;
(vii) provide science for the people –through our unique databases, such as our Pesticide-Induced Diseases Database, which empower local activists and policy makers with the latest science, policies, and action; and,
(viii) build a bridge to a toxic-free future with hands-on information on management practices that do not rely on pesticides.
