Real Organic Project is a farmer-led non-profit created to restore integrity to USDA Organic. We administer an “add-on” food label for organic farms that pasture livestock and grow crops in healthy soils. We educate eaters about the nutritional, community, and planetary benefits of real organic production practices. Pioneers of the organic movement have joined hands with the next generation of organic farmers to protect organic from the industrial powers that are changing the meaning of USDA organic in the marketplace. Our vision of the future includes thousands of thriving organic farms successfully finding markets within their surrounding communities.
