Rob Faux (pronounced "Fox") owns and operates the Genuine Faux Farm near Tripoli, Iowa with his partner, Tammy, growing a wide variety of produce for local sales and seed production. The farm is a diverse operation that includes poultry and some perennial crops.  They are committed to sustainable growing practices and have maintained organic certification since 2007. Rob is also Pesticide Action Network’s Communications Associate for Iowa, joining the organization in 2020.  He combines his knowledge of farming and personal experience with drift to produce content for PAN, regularly contributing to the Ground Truth blog and other PAN offerings.  In a former life, Rob worked as a software engineer and a post-secondary educator in Computer Science.
