Tim Seastedt, PhD is Professor Emeritus, Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Senior Fellow, Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research at the University of Colorado. As a terrestrial ecologist focusing on alpine and grassland ecosystems, he has used research findings and monitoring to understand community resilience and transformation with respect to climate change. His work on invasive plant species and non-chemical controls of those species began in the 1990s and has included studies of ‘the worst’ of the regionally abundant introduced plants of the Western US.
